SpyEye
SpyEye is a new malware toolkit (similar to Zeus malware) that steals money from online bank accounts. This nasty piece of malicious software works fast and automatically initiates a transaction much quickler than an average person would do manually. The malicious software has a command-and-control servers network hosted throughout the world.
The SpyEye toolkit is a botnet that carries a builder module to create the Trojan bot executable with a control panel for command and control and configuration file. Some of the malware features are as follows:
  • Formgrabbing, which supports IE, Netscape, Firefox, and Maxthon, is an advanced type of Keylogger that captures web form data
  • Daily backup of database by e-mail
  • Autofill credit card modules
  • Encrypted configuration file
  • Pop3 grabber
  • Zeus killer
  • Exe String-Sources encryption
  • Ftp protocol grabber
  • Http basic access authorization grabber
